Dejie He joined Decathlon's logistics team with the mission to improve the company's decarbonization strategies. Her primary goals were to optimize greenhouse gas (GHG) calculation methodologies, digitize emission data for real-time analytics, research potential decarbonization strategies in transportation, and develop a training manual for sustainable logistics practices.


Dejie tackled these challenges through a multi-faceted approach. First, she reviewed international standards for GHG calculations, optimizing Decathlon's existing methods. She then contributed to the creation of a Logistics Transportation Decarbonization Dashboard, a digital platform for real-time emission analytics.

Furthermore, Dejie conducted comparative research on various transportation methods and alternative energy options, providing actionable insights for future strategies. Lastly, she developed a comprehensive 120-page training manual to guide the logistics team in China towards sustainable practices.
