Chicago, DC, NYC, Oh My! EDF Climate Corps Network Events around the Country

Kate Hanley | July 24, 2015

Rory Christian presents to the NYC networkWhile summer is primetime for our current fellows, it’s also a great time for EDF Climate Corps to bring our powerful network together to meet, mingle and catch-up.

Last week, we brought together more than 85 EDF Climate Corps network members at events in Chicago, DC and New York.

  • In Chicago, current and alumni fellows mingled and shared career and fellowship advice during a downtown happy hour.
  • In Washington, DC, fellows, hosts, and staff enjoyed an evening of conversation and cocktails at a rooftop bar.
  • In New York, network members were energized by a briefing on REV by New York Clean Energy Director, Rory Christian and enjoyed networking with 360-degree views of Manhattan.

With over 1,000 members, this network is powerful. As you can see from last week’s events, our goal is to leverage that power by connecting EDF Climate Corps network members with each other and energy management experts.

But our network is only as strong as our members. If you were an EDF Climate Corps fellow or host, we welcome you as part of our network and want to stay in touch. If you have updated contact info, job title, location or an idea for an event, please let me know at khanley@edf.org.

Regional events like last week’s are just one of the ways we bring people and ideas together. If you can’t make it to an in-person event this summer, try one of our free webinars featuring latest trends in energy management presented by leading organizations. You can view the full schedule of 3E Webinars here and register by clicking on the webinar title. And, be sure to save the date for EDFCC’s Energy Solutions Exchange – our 6th annual fall event! This year the event will be hosted at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston on October 22-23. We hope to see you there!
